Scripts

Some videos begin with a short script, outline, or storyboard to define the message and structure before editing begins.

Depending on the request, this may include:

• a written script
• a storyboard or visual outline
• a shot list or scene breakdown

These materials help both teams align on the direction of the video before production begins. Please note that script development is typically used for larger or structured videos and may vary depending on the scope of the request or plan.

Script Workspace

For projects that require scripting, we use a shared workspace in Boords to organize and review scripts.

This workspace allows our teams to collaborate on:

• video scripts
• storyboards
• shot lists
• visual flow of the video

Projects may be organized by month and/or brand so everything stays easy to navigate.

A link to the Boords workspace will be available from the dashboard navigation.

Reviewing Scripts

When a script or storyboard is ready, it will be shared with your team for review.

During this stage your team can:

• review the script or storyboard
• suggest edits or adjustments
• confirm the direction of the video

Script Approval Process

The typical process looks like this:

  1. A script or outline is prepared based on the request and provided materials.

  2. The script is shared in the workspace for review.

  3. Your team reviews and provides comments or approval.

  4. Once approved, the project moves into production.
